As she gets ready for the release of her 15 track studio album later this month, Orisha Sound is enjoying the success of the albums' lead single "embrace it", which features Jamaican Reggae icon, Sizzla Kalonji.

The song was released at the beginning of April and began to get global radio rotation almost immediately. "Embrace it" is now number 1 on the CVM Hit List chart and number 2 on Hype TV's top 20 chart (two of Jamaica's most respected music charts).

The second single from the album was released on June 11th, it is entitled "beautiful sin" and it is a remix of the original pop version which sat on several international charts for weeks. The success of both songs is keeping Orisha Sound very busy with performances right across the island. She has also done quite a few interviews, most notably on CVM and TVJ's morning programs and she appeared as a co-host on Hype TV.

Orisha Sound is signed to RBC Records, which also represents urban music heavy weights The Game, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too Short and many others. Although the label is based in the USA, Orisha has gotten the green light to travel back and forth between Jamaica and Los Angeles as she intends to fuse a lot of Reggae and Dancehall with her pop sound. In addition to Sizzla Kalonji, the upcoming album will also feature the dancehall king, Beenie Man as well as other established Jamaican artists. All the Reggae and Dancehall songs are produced by Shel K of Springwata Productions who is also acting as Orisha Sound's official agent in Jamaica.
