Dancehall sensation I-Octane continues his explosive musical journey with what is expected to be another stellar closing performance for Reggae Sumfest's Dancehall night on Thursday, July 17.

The artiste will bring his brand of excitement to the Sumfest stage in a month. He has earned praises from fans and music critics alike following his energetic closing performance at last year's show. While having performed at Reggae Sumfest for the last three years, last year was the first time the artiste closed dancehall night, a task set for only the best performers.

Johnny Gourzong, Summerfest Productions Executive Director revealed that I-Octane was a no-brainer to close dancehall night once again, stating, "I-Octane did an excellent job last year. He is an exciting and dynamic entertainer who had the people jumping right throughout his performance. This year I am expecting an even better performance."

Over the years, I-Octane has been consistent in his career and that has boosted him to become known as one of Jamaica's best artistes. With massive hits such as Lose a Friend, L.O.V.E Y.O.U and Gyal A Gi Me Bun I-Octane has the right selection of songs to wow the crowd.
