Currently in Jamaica for Reggae month and the earthstrong celebrations of Dennis Brown and Bob Marley, Marla is participating in varying tribute shows, radio and television interviews, while setting the tone of her solo career.
"Here Comes the King is almost a love letter to dad celebrating his life and legacy across the globe," she told Jamaicansmusic noting that "It is my personal way of telling him I love him as we used to converse through songs almost all the time."
