Jesse Royal set for first Rebel Salute performance Image

Jesse Royal makes his first Rebel Salute appearance on Friday, January 17th with current hit Modern Day Judas on heavy rotation and a recently released music video getting great views on social media.  

Royal will release the video for television in time for his appearance on Rebel Salute as he takes his brand of ‘Reggaelutionary’ music to St. Ann fans.

Modern Day Judas was produced by Winta James on the Overstand Riddim and has been enjoying steady airplay on Jamaican and overseas radio and sound systems and landing in many djs top 10 picks for 2013.  The video for the song was directed by Sameel ‘Kush-1’ Johnson as part one of a two-part story soon to be followed by Hotter the Battle produced by Kareem Burrell on the XTM label.  His earlier fan favourite This Morning was produced by CrashDummy Records and peaked at #1 on the Japanese ringtones charts in 2013.

Jesse’s performance promises to ignite the Rebel Salute audience from start to finish with fan favourites like Bittersweet, Butterflies, Greedy Babylon, Light Like a Feather, Loyal Soldier, One Eye Open, Singing the Blues, Wadada and Warning to All.

Jesse Royal has been working in studio on new music for an EP to be released this Spring and building his fan base with a steady stream of great performances including his last three appearances have been at Wicky Wacky Live in St. Thomas with Raging Fyah, Country Side in Kingston with No Maadz and the Rastafari Vibrations Festival in St. Elisabeth. 

Rebel Salute will mark another milestone in Jesse Royal’s journey to international success.
