Jesse Royal looks ahead to Blue Mountain Music Festival Image

The next stop on Jesse Royal’s journey will be the Blue Mountain Music Festival at Holywell on February 22nd where he will share the stage with Third World, Tanya Stephens, TOK, Chronixx, Jah 9, Raging Fyah, NoMaddz and many more.  

The two day festival presented by Bombrush records in association with the Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust, will also offer camping, bonfires, hiking, yoga, kids zone and star gazing for the family.

Jesse Royal’s latest releases include Preying on the Weak on the Military riddim and Little Did They Know included on the Living Heart tribute album for his former producer Fattis Burrell produced by son Kareem Burrell for his XTM Nation label.

The artiste made his first Rebel Salute appearance with his brand of ‘Reggaelutionary’ music to appreciative fans on Friday night.  Anchored by his current hit Modern Day Judas, Royal’s performance ignited the Rebel Salute audience from the start to finish of his set mixed with fan favourites This Morning, Greedy Babylon and Hotter the Battle.

In between live appearances, the artiste continues to work in studio on new music for his debut album expected later this year.  The strength of his previous releases including Modern Day Judas which was on many djs top 10 pick lists for 2013 and his previous hit single This Morning, produced by CrashDummy Records, peaked at #1 on the Japanese ringtones charts in 2013, signals a bright future for this officer in the army of artistes leading the renaissance of Reggae in the Jamaican and international market.
