Jamaican gospel reggae crooner Jermaine Edwards is set to premiere the official video for his latest single entitled "Number One". The self-produced track which will be featured on his upcoming album "Life Worship" is a soulful blend of reggae and R&B. The lyrical content focuses on how God, before everything else, is number one as the title suggests.
Through the lens of director Darren Scott, we are taken through a series of seemingly random events which we will come to realize were all orchestrated by God to provide for the lead character Johnny. Johnny is a homeless man, who despite of his circumstances has faith in the Almighty. Edwards explained "A thousand dollar bill was used to demonstrate how God can use adverse situations to bring assistance/blessing to you." The video was shot in Jamaica, in areas of Spanish Town, St. Catherine and Rumbar Cane field (Caymanas).
The official video premiere will take place on May 20th at 8pm (JA) on Jamaicansmusic.com Facebook page. You can listen to a preview of the song here.
Fans can look out for other upcoming projects in 2013 from Edwards. He shared that his "Life Worship" album is currently in the works along with a Calendar Gospel Show in association with Digicel. For updates you may visit his Facebook, email him at email@example.com or call 571-6878
