Honing the skills of varying young acts this past year, The Marley-led record label, Ghetto Youths International (GYI), is set to cement their status with their debut compilation, Set Up Shop Volume 1.

The 14-track opus is slated to hit iTunes February 26 and features an eclectic line-up including Jo Mersa (son of Stephen Marley), Daniel 'Bambaataa' Marley (son of Ziggy Marley), Christopher Ellis (son of Alton Ellis), Black-Am-I, Wayne Marshall and the Marley brothers –, Stephen, Julian and Damian 'Jr. Gong' Marley – with appearances from Aidonia , Jah Cure, I-Octane , Assassin , Akon, Bounty Killer, Tarrus Riley, T.O.K, Bugle, Buju Banton and Vybz Kartel.

The compilation plays as a means to whet appetites as the label prep full length albums for Wayne Marshall, Christopher Ellis and Black-Am-I and transcends varying genres from Dancehall and Roots Reggae to Doo Wop and hints of R and B.

The label has proven to have an ear for talent and has been steadily discovering, developing, and signing gifted artistes.

This one surely promises to be a treat to unapologetically unlock your mind for an authentic musical journey.
