Delux Edition of Kaya To Be Released For 35th Anniversary Image

Spawning hit singles 'Is This Love', 'Sun Is Shining' and 'Misty Morning', the 1978 release of Kaya played as a more laidback, less political-laden and more marijuana-infused composition in comparison to its triumphant predecessor Exodus.

In celebration of the 35th anniversary of its release, Island/Tuff Gong/Universal Music will release a deluxe two-CD set version to the original tracklist of Kaya.

Announced to be released April 23, 2013 the two-CD set will be packaged with the original artwork, a 23-page booklet that includes lyrics, super rare photo of Marley and the Wailers plus extensive liner notes.

The first disc includes the original ten-track album remastered to the latest audio standard, along with the bonus track, 'Smile Jamaica'; which was the B-side of the single 'Satisfy My Soul' and was written for the people of Jamaica after the assassination attempt on Marley's life at the Smile Jamaica unity concert in 1976

The second disc contains the previously unreleased live show of a sold out performance at Ahoy Hallen, recorded on July 7, 1978 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The audio from the concert was originally planned to be released with the Babylon By Bus album but was never released.
