With the undying admiration spilling from his fans, the late Reggae legend recently broke into the top 10 on Billboard's Social 50 chart for the very first time.

The Billboard's Social 50 chart levels the most popular entertainers on varying social mediums including YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, Wikipedia, MySpace and Instagram.

Measured by music analytics company, Next Big Sound, an artiste's garnered weekly additions of friends/fans/followers, page views, song plays are tallied and compared. As of this week Marley jumped from No.34 to No.9.

Following a recent partnership with ESPN – with the network showcasing Marley's music across all of its programmes since July 1st and promoting the latest release Legend Remixed while making his prolific catalogue a part of ESPN's upcoming X-Games programming – Marley has one of the largest followings of any posthumous musician.

Raking in over 45 million Facebook fans only Michael Jackson has a larger audience with over 61 million fans.
