Altitude Riddim Review Image

Not limiting their productions to one-dimensional beats, Ancient Records releases Altitude Riddim further solidifying their presence on the ever shifting Dancehall musical landscape.

Produced by Jayds, the Altitude Riddim balances up-tempo sounds dreamily.

Armed with uncanny dynamic synths, eerie drums and a vague atmospherics, the riddim grabs your attention fully after 10 seconds and leaves nothing to the imagination while tugging at your senses to start nodding or rocking side-to-side.

The 5-track playlist may seem small but is just enough to not allow any artiste to surpass the other. With lyrical content raging from Love to Betrayal to being unmoved by negativity, it wouldn't be surprising if the tracklist expands as the riddim garners more rotation on varying airwaves and online music streams.

Ancient Records is primed to ride the creative new wave that is currently washing across Dancehall productions; Alternative Dancehall, Indie Reggae, call it what you want – the music speaks for itself.
