He has a plethora of hit singles, but only two albums. However, that number is about to increase as Assassin, also known as Agent Sasco, gets ready to release his latest studio album.

When The Gleaner caught up with the deejay following his performance at the Best of the Best concert in Miami recently, he revealed that an album is in the works and could be released later this year or early next year.

Though all the details have not yet been finalised, the artiste says the album will be one fans should look forward to.

"It is still early days yet, but I'm always working and making sure that whatever I put out is the best," he said.

Following his stellar performance at the Miami concert, Agent Sasco put on another spectacular show at the Oracabessa Festival in Queens, New York, the following day. The entertainer is currently on his European tour which got under way in Geneva, Switzerland, last Wednesday before heading off to Frankfurt, Germany.

Many consider Agent Sasco to be one of the best deejays to emerge on the dancehall scene, and he has built his reputation on professionalism and integrity. These qualities were on display at his recent shows where during his set, the artiste called other entertainers to share the stage with him.

Recording artiste Bugle was scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. appearance at Best of the Best, but following a misunderstanding, the entertainer did not get to perform. It was not until Agent Sasco touched the stage that Bugle's Miami fans got to see the deejay.

BRIEF APPEARANCES

In a display of camaraderie, Sasco allowed Bugle to put in an appearance during his set, stating that it would have been unfortunate for the artiste to have travelled to Miami and not have the chance to perform. Also, at the Oracabessa Festival in New York, he called on dancehall diva Tifa to make a brief appearance.

The gesture did not go unnoticed as both entertainers took to Twitter to express their gratitude.

Tifa tweeted: "Big up @agentsasco for the call on!! Oracabessa festival was a good look."

Bugle wrote: "Performing "Nuh Compatible" @best of the best. Big up @agentsasco one a the few real youth in a music."
