NEIL AMOS

Biography

I AM JOY is the EP and
slogan being pushed by singer/songwriter Neil Amos. The 24 Year old
entertainer has been a bit of a journey man in the entertainment business since
starting out at the tender age of 12 with being a recording engineer and staff
writer for the Free Willy Label.

Now switching roles to recording artist and performer, Amos is eagerly embarking on a promotional run with his debut EP, which

includes songs such as ; Best Foot Forward, Empress, Give Thanks and Addicted which have all been getting favorable responses
throughout social media.

When quizzed about what the I AM JOY movement represents, the jovial entertainer had this to say, “ Well, when we sey I AM JOY, that is just my own personal way of keeping grounded and stress free enno, you know sometimes when things nah go too right or even when things are great and people will ask mi wah gwan? or even when mi a greet people mi just sey, I AM JOY man and them love it so we just run wid it”.

In matters relating to the EP itself, Amos informed us that the actual project had been a
work in progress for the past three years with production credits going to the likes of; Randy Rich Production’s , Dre Zion , CrankShaft production’s in Europe, Head Concussion, Cleve Browne as well as himself.

According to the entertainer, “the EP really just represents the moods and
attitudes over that time period and you will find the songs are all positive,
humors, reflective, party and relationship type stories wrapped in a nice mix
of Reggae, Dancehall, R&B and modern sound influences”.

Currently the youngster is working out of the Taxi Gang / One Pop Music outfit with the
support and guidance from the likes of Sly & Robbie and Rory Baker. His
