Hoszia Hinds was on his own from as early as 10 years old, he began his journey of singing from very young, he always loved to sing but didn’t want to sing other peoples songs, so he spent long evenings, creating and writing his own music to whatever was going on in his head.

Hoszia's younger days were days of struggle and hardship, trying to help maintain and provide for his other 12 siblings.

He came from the heart of the Ghetto Lifestyle, he became a gangster after hanging around those influences which cause him to get involved in the negative ways of life. One day he got into a brutal fight with another man causing him to be seriously damaged, fainting out unconscious, almost losing his hand which was almost severed, while in the operation room, he heard the voice of God speaking to him, saying " Hoszia it's time to serve me the Living God" when he regained consciousness he was startled at the fact that God spoke directly to him and he knew that this was the turning point for his life, He gave his Life over completely to the Lord in 1996. Although he felt he made the right choice of becoming a Christian, the environment around him was still there tugging at his heart, he battled with the mind but willed himself to the things of God.

He had a desire to do God's work even though he was faced with poverty, he continued on his journey in pursuit of the King of Kings, to know God's purpose for his life.

Hoszia saw his wife at age 10 and claimed her to be his, between him and God, he later saw her again at age 14 and said hi, he knew in his heart this girl would be his someday, at age 16 he was invited to a church called " Power In The Blood Assembly" to his great surprise he saw her again there. Hoszia new that this girl was his destiny. In January 2002, he married her “Tracy” then 20 years and he was 21 years, his relationship to his wife is very strong, respectful, honourable, faithful and God controlling, he added his first child - a Son “Treszia” to his family in 2007, his marriage have grown stronger & Loving each other more every day. Hoszia and his family are current member of the "THE PEOPLES CATHEDRAL CHURCH" www.peoplescathedral.org under the guidance of Bishop Holmes Williams and Pastor Andre Symmonds. He is also mentored by "Paul Williams" there.

Hoszia decided he wanted to take the gospel international, ministering the word proclaiming Jesus to nations in song/preaching. There was a struggle to even get on a stage for only 5mins, but he was persistent and did not bother about disappointment when he got turned down at times, he made it his business to keep asking when ever he heard an event was coming up. One day God laid Hoszia on the heart of a producers Timothy Morgan & Adrian Odle. and he recorded his first single. Hoszia did not let it stay there, he ran with it, took to every radio stations to be played, he placed it on disk and marketed that one song, his first released called ‘ All I Need” in 2006. He later started a band but as he felt the call of God he pioneered as a solo artiste, since then he has been the eyes of the media with great exposure and promotions through radio interviews, television interviews & recordings and newspapers

Hoszia is recognized as one of the new breakoust artiste from the Caribbean. In 2007 he received his first Nominations from the Flame Awards. In 2008 he released his first Album – “THE COMING OUT”. He was privilege to have Shane Holford of Fresh Productions sponsor him with Music Videos as God had laid it on his heart to help Hoszia these were I’m Calling and The Coming Out. In 2008. Hoszia won a Flame Awards as “MOST IMPROVED ACT”, he was also Nominated 2008 for Gospel Music Channel Awards USA - SOUL Category he made it the top 5 finalist (Marvin Sapp won that award). he was also Nominated in 2008 for Barbados Music Awards as “Gospel Artiste of the year”.

The year 2009. Hoszia Won Flame Awards as “ARTISTE OF THE YEAR, “MALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR and “BEST COLLABORATION featuring Barry Reid. Following his outstanding performance ministry, he was selected to represent Barbados at the THE BOBBY JONES GOSPEL RETREAT SHOW – Hollywood Florida he ministered ALL I NEED”, this got him a feature on the WORD NETWORK and “FAMILY MAGAZINE” USA. Hoszia began to journey on international waters, he was nominated and Won 2010 Ensound Music Awards for "Best Caribbean Gospel Album of the Year" He also released his second Album" BREAKING OUT" with several Music Videos "Thirsty", "None of that", "Never Say Never". In 2011 Hoszia was Nominated BMA Awards as "Best Gospel Artiste of the Year". He was also selected from the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC MY TV8) Alexandra Murray to produce his Life story on "Blaze The Trail".since he was striding so fast and successfully. In 2011 he will be releasing his new Album called "The Race Against Time along with the music video called "Giving Up is Not An Option" produced by Shane Holford of Fresh Production.

Hoszia has been the featured Artiste on several Websites across the world. his Music Style is not limited he is versatile in many areas such as Urban, Contemporary gospel/reggae, Pop, Rock, Alternative with R & B.

Hoszia’s focus is to proclaim Jesus in his song ministry, "My desire is that, I would have impacted my generation with the love of Jesus and the truth about how real he is, that’s why I sing so much about HIM and so passionately and I am not ashamed to say the name of Jesus. To every one in this world -Jesus is supreme and I will be grasping every opportunity to proclaim it in my music and preach the Word of God, professionally.
