Dancehall artiste Demarco will be leaving the island tomorrow to perform at Club Lidos in Boston, on Friday. This will be the artiste's first appearance in Boston.

Collin Demar Edwards aka Demarco, took the musical scene by storm with his 2007 hit single, Fallen Soldiers.

As Demarco recalls, "I made the riddim in my kitchen studio and after listening to it I realised that it sounded like something sad, so I started to think about friends who were no longer with us and the lyrics started flowing. In order for it to have universal appeal, I didn't call specific names and it worked."

Demarco was previously better known as a producer for his Star Kutt Records, rather than as an artiste.

Among his newest projects is a jazzed-up cover of the Mighty Diamonds' hit single, I Need A Roof Over My Head, which should appeal to younger listeners.
